High-odds football predictions this weekend
Once again it’s time for the big North London derby of the Premier League. Tottenham Hotspur hosts Arsenal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and we expect some terrific football between these two teams. Let’s see what we can tell you about it in our High-odds football predictions this weekend.
Spurs started the new season with one win, one draw and one defeat. Probably it’s not the best start for Ante Postecoglou’s team, but still winning four points in the first nine matches is not the worst as well. What Tottenham missed last season is consistency. Can they find it now? It’s an important question for sure.
Before the break Tottenham didn’t have much luck as they suffered their first loss for the season. Spurs faced Newcastle away from home, but didn’t do enough and suffered a 1-2 defeat at the St. James’ Park.
Now Ange Postecoglou could try to switch the team a little bit against Arsenal. Looking at the bench, Timo Werner and Rodrigo Bentancur are obvious choices for the line-up.
Arsenal are just two points behind Manchester City and Liverpool. The Gunners feel obligated to win here as it would be a strategic result in their ambition to win the title.
Arsenal lost points for a first time this season against Brighton & Hove Albion at the Emirates before the break. The main reason for this was the red card Declan Rice received in the beginning of the second half. Obviously Rice won’t be available for selection against Spurs on Sunday.
Raheem Sterling could make his official debut for Arsenal against Tottenham. The winger arrived at the Emirates at the end of the summer transfer window.
That’s the High-odds football predictions this weekend for the Premier League derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. Can Spurs make a stand against one of the strongest teams in the league? Let’s see.
